Xu Jinglei is a Chinese actress, film director and editor. She graduated from Beijing Film Academy in 1997. Along with Zhao Wei, Zhou Xun and Zhang Ziyi, the mainland Chinese media considers her one of the Four Dan actresses (Chinese: 四大花旦). She has also spanned an acting career with directing since 2003.
Zhang Yuqi (simplified Chinese: 张雨绮; traditional Chinese: 張雨綺; pinyin: Zhāng Yǔqǐ; August 8, 1986), also known as “Kitty Zhang Yuqi”, is a Chinese actress. Her first major role was in Stephen Chow’s 2007 Hong Kong film CJ7, which brought her media attention and kickstarted her acting career.
Gao began her career in the entertainment industry when she was 17 years old. Unlike other famous actresses in mainland China, she did not receive any degree in acting from renowned drama schools. Zhang Jingchu (born 2 February 1980) is a Chinese film actress. She graduated in Directing at the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing.
Zhang was brought up in a middle-working-class family in the countryside. She studied English in Beijing New Oriental Institute and is fluent in the language.
She came into international prominence through director Gu Changwei‘s debut film Peacock, which won the Silver Bear at the 2005 Berlin International Film Festival.
